Another with only two lining up. Now I don't recall which ones. I have yet to mod my lone blonde. I think I'll go back through this thread on one of my days off, and see if I can come up with some ideas.

This one isn't mine, but I thought the PG was interesting. This was posted on a french forum and I nicked the image from the web. Don't like the "gift-wrap" look of whatever they used to cover the body with.

My first reaction is: "Whoa, that's cool!" But, I wouldn't be caught dead strapping that thing on ... even if that is unenlightened of me. Whoever did it really captured a look and a style - gotta give 'em credit for that!

GREAT original PG design! Obviously it's a "chick guitar", and in that capacity, I like the graphics.

I'm all for it, great look.
I'd have to play it well, to keep the snide remarks at bay.
Nice post.

Sump!! That is AWESOME!! Very original, my friend! Do tell! Excellent work. Another airbrush masterpiece? After looking at it some more, I'm even more impressed. I really like the way the asthetics of the guitar make you look from the body to the neck, then back to the body. This truly is an eye catcher. A great design encompasses the entire guitar, and Sump's Tie Dye fits the bill. Big ups!

I picked up a green pearloid guard on ebay the other day. It is a Jeannie and the holes line up with my sunburst and blonde stock guards. I wonder what GFS used for a template. Oh well, this one is staying on. Here's my generic looking sunburst. gfs bridge and guard mim tele neck gfs classic alnico neck p/u (quiet)

Ladies and Gentlemen, my "hot rod" is done! It's a Super Sport as you will see. Big ups to SquierMe for the initial White on White idea! Ugrades include: A black GFS bridge Duncan "Detonator" hummer First or Second gen. Seymour Duncan "Hotrails" in the neck slot and my favourite tuners: Gotoh "mini buttons" in black. Original control plate, neck plate, string trees, and strap buttons painted black. Black pg screws, and black knobs. New inlay design made with ebony wood (except where I kept the existing dots).
Enjoy! dp

I think the SS stands for Super Sweet, great job DP, it definitely has Hot Rod appeal. Like the simple color scheme.

Thanks, 2play! Amidst the trial and error with the paint job, I had a great time with this one. Cheers!

| Nice work Deepea...very original and looks very professional. I really like the added inlay on the fretboard and the faded racing strip. The combination of black hardware and with white paint and pickguard really compliments the SS theme. Very nice work! |

Thanks, chaps! The one thing I did not do that I intended to do was to put an ignition switch with a key sticking out of it for the three way. Would have given it even more of the car look.
